Welcome to day two of the hop.  Today I wanted to share with you a card that I created with the scraps from yesterday's canvas.   I love to immediately make a card with the scraps when I finish a project. It helps to clear away the clutter from my desk, and helps to keep the scraps low.

I used scraps from the Never Grow Up Collections, Remember This and Sleep Over Papers, and half of a doily that didn't make it onto my layout.    I used the cut apart journal page from Garment District to hold my sentiment.

For the Petaloo flowers I used the Velvet Hydrangeas Cream, and a leaf from the Spring Berry Clusters.

I love how these flowers add a touch of spring to this card.  They sparkled so much, that I decided to die cut a butterfly from some misted paper to accompany them.

  1. I love seeing these in action, it's so hard to tell what they look like from a picture of a package on the internet. Definitely going to add Petaloo to my cart. Marion's papers are a bit hard to find, but I do purchase her downloadable products.

  5. Good idea to use up the scraps from your scrapbooking to make greeting cards. That's much better than throwing them in a box for "sometime use".
    The card is beautiful.
